One year ago today...

Today, one year later, I want to Honor this incredible man, Marine, K9 Handler, Cpl. Dustin Jerome Lee.  He was born April 7, 1986.  Cpl. Lee was killed March 21, 2007 in Fallujah, Iraq.  He was a Marine K9 Handler attached to the 3rd Recon Battalion in Fallujah when the attack had happened.  Lex, his MWD did received injuries, but they were non life threatening.  THANKS TO ALL INVOLVED, Lex is now with the Lee family(he was Adopted on December 21, 2007), and giving lots of love to this incredible family!

Dustin, you will not be forgotten!  Dustin is a reminder to me each and everyday that life is short, and this incredible man died doing something THAT HE LOVED SO VERY MUCH; it makes me realize more and more that we should always take pride and joy in what we do, and really find something in life that we are passionate about, such as Dustin was with the Military Working Dogs.

I may not have had the privilege and honor of meeting you, but I can see now, speaking to those who did, that you touched many lives in so many ways!
