John Burnam's amazing accomplishments!

Picture above and left is Master Sergeant, U.S. Army(Ret.)John Burnam who had served in Vietnam.  He currently resides in Washington D.C. Thanks John for these wonderful photos!

John Burnam has done so many amazing things to try and help the Military Working Dogs, and I will give you a "partial list," because I may just run out of room here; he continues to strive for the very best for our "unseen" four legged Hero's!

He is the author of "Dog Tags of Courage"(2006)I have recently started reading this--in a word, "Amazing"
Also author of "A Soldier's Best Friend"(Spring 2008)

He is also the Founder of the National War Dogs Monument and co-author of congressional legislation approved by President George W. Bush(2007).

One of his documentaries that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND is titled, "War Dogs." His other appearances include:

Animals Aloft--(Smithsonian Networks-New Release 2008)
Hero Dogs--The History Channel
Clipper-War Dog-(National Geographic Cable TV
and SO MANY MORE which include Radio appearances.

Look at my post below about this amazing man too!

Sgt. Adam Cann: He will never be forgotten!!!

It's hard to believe that it's been 2 years since Sgt. Adam Cann has passed.  Sgt. Adam Cann was killed in action on January 5th, 2006.  He was a member of the Military Police assigned to the Security Battalion, Marine Corps Base in Camp Pendleton, CA.  He was awarded the Purple Heart, and the Bronze Star Medal. He was the 1st K9 Handler KIA since the Vietnam War.

You are truly missed! I am PROUD and HONORED to call Leigh and Carol Cann my Friends!
Semper Fidelis Hero!
